Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence
Rio Salado Habitat Restoration
Phoenix, Arizona

Working with the Army Corps of Engineers and Stronghold Engineering, NRI was contracted to perform some very unique services. The main focus of this project is the enhancement and reclamation of a large wetland area in the middle of Phoenix.

The first part of the project involves the planting of almost 1,000 Cottonwood trees in what has commonly been called the "1,000 Trees Project". NRI also has landscaped a demonstration garden that will be used by the City of Phoenix to showcase this unique environment in the center of a large metropolis. The salvage of almost 100 Pine trees near the project has also been an early part of NRI's scope of work.
