The Revegetation Process
As the project's infrastructure
is nearing completion, we begin
recycling natural resources back
into the disturbed areas. Cacti
and trees are replanted,
boulders are placed, seed is
spread, gravel is distributed,
and the area is naturalized to
replicate the adjoining
undisturbed native palette.
Although NRI has its principal
experience in southwest desert
regions and the Arizona
highlands area, we have also
become proficient at relocating
materials in Utah, Colorado,
Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and
California.
Throughout these regions, we are
able to relocate Ponderosa pine,
Pinon pine, junipers, oaks,
manzanita, ground covers, mulch,
pine needles, and native wild
flowers indigenous to each site.
NRI's ultimate challenge is to
create a symbiotic relationship
between development and the
natural ecosystem through lower
water usage, minimized
environmental impact and lower
overall costs.
