Earth Day Celebration @ NRI NRI Riparian Demonstration Garden June 22, 2008

For the past months since completion of the Riparian Demonstration Garden at our Native Resources Corporate Center, NRI has hosted site tours of the demonstration garden for local elementary school children with a vision of helping our children understand the importance of environmental preservation and care. Earth day celebration is one of our important days of the year! On the most recent Earth Day, fourth-graders from Lookout Mountain Elementary School toured our wetland habitat and learned about desert flora and fauna. The kids enjoyed the tour and went home with young Saguaros that they can plant in their yard.
