On November 18, 2006, Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA) at it's 30th Annual Arizona Excellence in Landscaping Awards Program honored Native Resources International the Award of Excellence for its Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Project. The Award of Excellence is given to only one project in a category. These projects must meet the highest standards of achievement, harmony with the environment and creativity. Native Resources International's Rio Salado entry was for the largest category of commercial landscape installation which ALCA reviewed. Receiving the award was Mr. Kurt Homan, General Manager of Native Resources International.
